Originally, the dark theme was only available for Windows Phone users, then during the pre-release phase of Windows 10, the dark theme appeared for the first time as a hidden feature and it required to modify the Windows registry to make it work, which wasn’t an ideal solution.
However, unlike previous versions, Windows 10 introduces the idea of dark themes on the operating system and apps for those users who prefer the more simplistic design and dislike colorful patterns. Windows 10 is very customizable as it comes with a variety of personalization options and colored themes you can choose to make the operating system more personal.
